It’s almost time for the Eagles to fly to the nest for the very first time! Use this page to prepare for the first few days of school at WJSE.
Access, download, and print school supply lists here. Clear backpacks are not required, but every student should have a backpack.
Visit the Our Team page to meet our outstanding faculty and staff and find your student’s teacher wishlist.
If your child has a medication that they need to take at school, please contact our office and arrange to drop off medications during the week of July 29 – August 2. Medications should be labeled with a student’s first and last name as well as grade level and any instructions. Prescription medication must be prescribed to the student. All other medications must be unopened.
At Willie Jeffries School of Excellence, we require all students to wear uniforms. A higher standard of dress encourages great respect for individuals, students and others, and results in a higher standard of behavior.
There are several avenues for parents to get their students to school at WJSE.
1. Car Rider Line (pickup and dropoff)
2. Carpool & Car Rider Line
3. Bus Site Pickup and Dropoff – visit our Bus page to learn more and reserve your student’s seat on the Eagle Express!

Please review the student handbook with your student prior to the first day of school.
Parent feedback is a crucial part of our opening. Please use our form to provide our team with your feedback so we can best serve your family. We will send out the link after the first week of school.
