The Willie Jeffries School of Excellence (WJSE) is a tuition-free public charter school serving students and families in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Inspired by the legacy of Hall of Fame Coach Willie Jeffries and established through a partnership with the Berkeley Charter Education Association and the Charter Institute at Erskine, WJSE was founded on the belief that every child deserves access to an exceptional education.

As we enter our third year of operation, WJSE continues to raise the standard by fostering a culture where excellence is expected, achievement is celebrated, and every student is empowered to succeed.
