Lottery Process

Thank you for your excitement and interest in joining our WJSE family!


As we continue striving towards excellence, we are excited to offer an excellent choice for the 2024-2025 school year. Open Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year began October 4 through February 2. If the applications received exceed the slots available, then a lottery will be conducted by a third party organization during the week of Feb. 5-9.


Students will be drawn at random and offered a seat in the grade in which the application was submitted if there is a seat open at the time drawn. If a seat is offered, you will receive email and phone notifications with instructions on how to accept your offer. If no seats remain, the student will be placed on our waitlist in the order drawn. We will notify you and keep you updated on your child’s lottery results.  


Notifications will be sent to the contact information entered in your student’s application. Upon receiving an offer, you will have 7 days to accept it.


Once offered a seat, the registration documents will be sent to the email address provided. You will be able to complete all registration forms and upload the required enrollment documents.
